Principle Accountabilities
•Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
•Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for accurate projections and resource allocation.
•Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (statements, management reports, disclosures).
•Identify and mitigate financial risks (market, credit, operational).
•Develop and implement strategies for funding, capital management, and optimizing financial structure.
•Provide financial analysis and insights for business decisions.
•Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards; maintain governance and internal controls.
•Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering excellence and innovation.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•Chartered Accountant qualification.
•5 years’ experience in the cables or similar industry.
•Hands-on experience in:
•Credit control
•Risk management
•Investment
•Cash flow forecasting
•Proficient in MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
•Experience in corporate governance and strong negotiation skills
