Our organization, a dynamic media company with a proud legacy in newspapers, digital publishing, broadcasting, and printing & packaging operations, is seeking an exceptional Chief Finance Officer to join our executive leadership team. With a footprint spanning traditional and digital media, we are aggressively transitioning to a digital-first business model, investing in cutting-edge technology and data-driven processes to shape the future of news, entertainment, and content delivery. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board.

Key Responsibilities

• • Overseeing the company’s financial strategy, ensuring fiscal discipline, and enabling sustainable growth across all business units.
  • Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes across all media divisions.
  • Proven track record in strategic financial leadership to support the company’s ambitious digital transformation, partnering closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board.
  • Develop and implement innovative funding and revenue models for digital products, platforms, and services.
  • Optimize capital allocation and cost structures to maximize ROI and long-term value creation, with a focus on digital growth initiatives.
  • Mentor and build a high-performing, tech-savvy finance team aligned with the company’s digital-first vision.

Qualifications & Experience

• • Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) in Finance, Strategic Management, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
  • Professional certifications such as: CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Minimum 10 years of executive leadership experience in Finance and accounting
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in a multimedia, broadcasting and publishing environment.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with ERP systems, financial modeling tools, and data analytics platforms
