The National Handicraft Centre is a leading organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the handicraft industry in Zimbabwe.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, marketing, and business development, with a proven track record of strategic leadership and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the strategic vision for the National Handicraft Centre.
* Lead cross-functional teams to enhance organizational performance and achieve goals.
* Oversee human capital management, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee relations.
* Drive marketing and business development initiatives to increase brand visibility and revenue.
* Ensure compliance with corporate governance and risk management policies.
* Foster partnerships with Stakeholders and promote the handicraft industry nationally and internationally.
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in Digital Marketing or related field.
* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Human Resources) or equivalent.
* Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a relevant field.
* Proven expertise in strategic leadership, human capital Management, and marketing.
* Strong analytical skills with a focus on research and data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools. Languages:
* Fluent in Shona, Ndebele, and English.
