Its vision is to be the leading sustainable producer of bioeconomy products and services in Zimbabwe by 2030.
To effectively execute its mandate, The Board of Directors invites applications from suitably qualified, visionary, and results-driven professionals for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring operational excellence, and driving sustainable growth in line with national bio-economy objectives. The position will report to the Finealt Engineering Private Limited Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities
- To provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization aligned with the company’s bio-economy mandate
- Define and execute the long-term vision to scale bioproducts and expand market share.
- Establish processing plants for production of bio-economy goods and services.
- Conduct research and develop technologies for bio-economy goods and services production
- To promote the Zimbabwe Government’s Rural Industrialization Programme through establishment of rural industrial parks in marginalized communities
- Develop and implement policies, strategies, and business plans aligned with national development frameworks
- Oversee financial management, operational performance, and project implementation
- Promote research, innovation, value addition, and commercialization of bio-based products
- Establish and maintain partnerships with Government Ministries, State Enterprises, research institutions, universities, private sector, industry partners and community to foster an ecosystem for innovation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Zimbabwean laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards
- Mobilise resources and investment to support bio-economy initiatives
- Stay abreast of changes in the external environment and develop regulations that promote sustainable production of bio-economy products.
- Promote and conduct the affairs of the entity with the highest standards of integrity, and corporate governance.
- Lead, manage, and motivate senior management and staff
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be a distinct advantage
- At least 10 years’ senior management experience, preferably within the bio-economy, agriculture, energy, manufacturing, research, or sustainability sectors
- Proven experience in strategic planning, financial management, and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of Zimbabwe’s policy environment, public sector operations, and development frameworks
- Strong strategic and visionary leadership
- Sound financial and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High levels of integrity and corporate governance awareness
- Results-oriented with the ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment
