Channel Distribution Manager

The Incumbent will be responsible to the Divisional Director Retail

Basic Function Responsible for establishing and managing a positive long term relationship between key channel distribution partners and the organization. Increasing market share and growing the organization’s revenue, subscriber base through the setting of objectives and strategies to achieve prescribed targets.

Major Activities of the Job

• Participates with corporate and marketing colleagues In the development of creative promotional channel selling strategies that are in line with TelOne products • Prepares annual and quarterly channel distribution plans in line with TelOne Business strategies. • Recommends product or service enhancements to Improve customer satisfaction and sales .5 • Executes agreed programs with partners and sales teams and Implement the execution of service distribution plans. • Identifies any obstacles to sales with respect to rep/distributor conflict and facilitate solutions through Divisional Director Retail. • Tracks and influence delivery service as measured by quarterly customer trading Instruments. • Summarizes distribution channel marketing expenditures and prepare annual and I quarterly budget overviews for entire calendar year• Leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives. • Cascades performance objectives to subordinates and review performance ID meet key business objectives of revenue generation, profitability and customer satisfaction as and when necessary. • Motivates employees using different interventions in order to achieve high productivity in the Organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Marketing and /or Business Management • Professional Sales or Marketing Qualification is an added advantage e.g IMM, • MBA / MBL Degree is an added advantage. • 5 years relevant experience in the Distribution industry, Competencies • Strong product knowledge of TelOne products and Services, • Excellent communications skills – Speaking, listening, writing, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently without supervision • Good communication skills and strong customer— centric focus_ • Sound exposure in the Channel Distribution Industry. • Sound product sales negotiation skills and ability to drive corporate sales
