Job Summary
The incumbent shall be responsible to carry out all Company CCTV activities to include components and accessories (video cameras, recording devices, monitors, networking equipment, fibre optic data transmission systems and other related hardware) specifications for all installations, repairs and maintenance to the highest standards.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Outlining all components and accessories specifications for all installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Installing, maintaining, repairing and replacing security cameras, computer networks and other equipment used in video surveillance systems.
• Coordinating with security personnel on committed crimes recorded on CCTV.
• Examines and tests various types of equipment to determine and recommend their disposal where necessary. Apparatus may vary in performance from one location to another depending on local conditions.
• Controls equipment inventory in consultation with IT department.
• Submits accurate and adequate reports for work activities.
Qualifications And Experience
• At least a National Diploma in Telecommunications.
• Minimum of 5 years field experience in the field.
• Innovative and self-motivated attitude.
• Knowledge and experience with commissioning and servicing CCTV systems.
• Proficiency with computers, networks and 3rd party software (Microsoft).
• Ability to generate maintenance schedules and SOPs.
• Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.
• A clean class 4 driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
