Cashier
The incumbent will be reporting to the Accounting Assistant.
Minimum Qualifications
• 5’0′ Levels Includrg English Language and Mathematics.
• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• At Least 2 years relevant experience ”
Core Competencies
• Excellent cash handling and accounting skills.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic
• High degree of honesty and sincenty.
• Accuracy at figures.
• Good communication skills.
Summary of Duties
• Receives, posts and process payments as well as daily reconciliations
• Calculates payments received and reconcile with receipts.
• Ensures receipting of all payments done.
• Ensuring cash office security procedures are followed.
• Daily compiling of control becks and month end returns.
• Reconciles daily takings.
• Conducting cash pick-ups.
