Canteen Chef – Harare
A Harare based company is looking for a Canteen Chef to start 1 March 2022. The incumbent will be taking care of an average of 25 employees per day.
Duties And Responsibilities
Timeously availing meals to employees.
Maintaining the Canteen and crockery in the best state of cleanliness and hyqiene
Managing and reporting Canteen spend and inventory.
Maintaining highest standards in food storage, diet, quality, and appearance.
Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulation
Ensuring food quality and taste is of the highest standard
Taking Canteen order numbers from supervisors every morning and preparing meals according to the orders given
Maintaining a Canteen inventory register and minimizing wastage
Adhering to the agreed healthy menus
Adhere to safety health environment and quality systems
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum qualification of Certificate/ Diploma in Catering/ Hospitality/ Professional Cookery
****Ordinary Level passes a must******
At least 1 year experience in similar role
Hospitality exposure an added advantage
