The Zimbabwe Agricultural Development Trust (ZADT) would like to engage a consultant to undertake an assessment of the financial landscape and develop a funding proposal for smallholder farmers and agri-MSMEs in Zimbabwe. The assignment is two-pronged:
* The first is to do a Financial Landscape Analysis which informs the CAUSEWAY Project design, donor dialogue, blended finance mechanisms, and investment strategies.
* The second component is to develop tailored pitch decks and funding proposals specifically designed to mobilize additional donor and investor resources for the CAUSEWAY Project. This will assist in translating identified opportunities into investment-ready pitches and funding proposals to mobilize resources for the CAUSEWAY Project, which facilitates access to finance for women and youth agri-preneurs and related MSMEs.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake an assessment of the financial landscape for smallholder farmers and agri-MSMEs in Zimbabwe.
- Develop a funding proposal based on the landscape assessment.
- Conduct a Financial Landscape Analysis to inform CAUSEWAY Project design, donor dialogue, blended finance mechanisms, and investment strategies.
- Develop tailored pitch decks and funding proposals to mobilize donor and investor resources.
- Translate identified opportunities into investment-ready pitches.
- Submit technical proposals and budgets to undertake this assignment.
