JOB OVERVIEW
Our company is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business objectives, identify opportunities for improvement and make system and process recommendations as well as implement solutions that will enable our company to achieve its goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, knowledge of business analysis techniques, strong technical skills and advanced expertise in data analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand and document business objectives, requirements, and processes
Conduct research and analyses to identify areas where business processes can be improved and make recommendations based on findings
Identify and document user stories, use cases, and functional requirements for proposed changes to business processes, new systems and system interfaces
Develop technical architectures, roadmaps, and blueprints for software applications and systems
Evaluate and select appropriate technology stack and tools for the application or system
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends to bring innovation to the design and development process
Identify and track key performance indicators and provide recommendations based on data analysis
Reporting writing and dashboards in various systems as well as data sets available using the appropriate tools
Project manage new software implementations including plan and execute user acceptance testing
Develop training materials and provide support to end-users.

REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a business systems analyst or similar role
Experience in using business analysis techniques, such as process mapping, gap analysis, and SWOT analysis
High-level expertise in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or other relevant data analysis tools
Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Expertise in one or more programming languages, like Java, Python, or C#
Experience with software development methodologies, like Agile, Scrum, or DevOps as well as integration of ERP solutions.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks while maintaining attention-to-detail
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, Master’s degree is a plus.
