Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

The role of the Business Intelligence Analyst is to manage and analyse sets of data in order to communicate high value information to support timely decision-making demands.

This requires matrix expertise in

1. Information systems,

2. Data management and,

3. Analytics.

The Analyst will generate insights by conducting extensive analyses on rich data. In the process, they will monitor the information data base, and the quality of inputs from system users.

. Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and report on data streams collected, calculated, and attributed by our internal systems and tools

• Provide high quality and detail-oriented reports on grower information, area trends and other important business

• Monitor data inputs and support field staff utilisation of business applications

• Facilitate field staff application usage training

• Develop and enhance our systems and tools to facilitate growth and continuous improvement

• Liaise with system developers to ensure 100% uptime of our systems

Qualifications:

1. Requirement for a degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or related field from an accredited university

1.         Advanced Power BI and SQL Skillset

iii.        Preference for a data intelligence certification

1. Highly skilled in Excel and other statistical programs such as SPSS, Tableau.

1. Intermediate skills in Networking and server management

1.         Experience with Couchbase/ No SQL Databases would be an added advantage
