An Industrial Consumables, General Hardware and Electrical Concern based in Harare and providing services nationwide seeks the services of a Lady Business Development Officer .

The post entails extensive marketing, procument, selling of industrial Consumables, General Hardware and electrical products, The post requires a self starter; flexible self-motivated individual prepared to work long hours on a regular basis.

Key Result Areas

• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
• Achieve set sales targets
• Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones,
• Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry related events.
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients,
• Participating in tenders related to the line of business
• Knowledge of tender procedures and general procurement

The individual should have to following qualities :

• Ability to manage complex projects and multitasking
• Exceptional organizational skills,
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management Procurement ,business Administration , Sales and Marketing
• Previous Experience in similar field will be an added advantage
• Strong communication skills and IT fluency,
• Basic Accounting knowledge,
• Clean Class Four Drivers Licence

REMUNERATION

• Favourable Basic Salary and Transport Allowances
• A Performance based Sales Commission paid Quarterly.
