Duties And Responsibilities
DUTIES
• Be reliable and diligent at all times and must be able to self-manage and be able to work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills and should have good customer service skills.
• Designing, implementing and maintaining internal control systems.
• Preparing and reporting the weekly summaries of the work done.
• Providing effective leadership to all staff in the department.
• Analyzing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Ensure that all operations are in full compliance of the law and the regulator.
• Closely monitoring the operating and financial results against plans and budgets.
• Assist in formulating and successfully implementing company policy and strategy
• Responsible for the implementation of an office security systems;
• Submitting timely reports, prepare presentation/proposals as assigned,
• Any other duties assigned by the CEO
Qualifications And Experience
REQUIREMENTS
• Must be a holder of an accounting degree or equivalent relevant degree
• An MBA will be an added advantage
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in a Micro-finance institution
• Knowledge of best corporate governance practice is essential
• Driver’s license is a must
