Job Summary
The BA acts as the client relationship manager and is responsible for consulting with the business to understand its problems, opportunities, goals, and objectives, define the business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services or optimized business processes Includes the scoping of several inter-related initiatives and helping senior-level business stakeholders make informed decisions about which initiatives to tackle and how to tackle them
The BA works closely with the project managers and business technology specialists in developing the appropriate the solution to meet the business need

Duties And Responsibilities
Gathering requirements through Workshops & Needs Analysis sessions
Facilitating requirements elicitation workshops
Developing business requirements specification
Developing Functional Requirements specifications
Facilitating document sign-off
Implementation of the completed product
Responsible for creating test scripts for systems
Responsible for creating business specific user templates
Developing functional test cases for solutions developed
Through a significant in-depth knowledge of business analysis skills and techniques; knowledge and use of technology and applications and in-depth business knowledge
Act as a champion to changes within the business analysis profession and to motivate business
analysts in continuous development
Assists project leadership in identifying potential project plan variances
Consult with business stakeholders on business needs, issues, and concerns.
Facilitate communications between business and IT.

Qualifications And Experience
 Relevant tertiary education (degree/honours)
 Advantageous qualifications/certifications:
o PMI
o IIBA
o Agile PM

Experience
4+ Years Experience in the Software Development Industry
4+ Years experience in the Analysis and Design of Enterprise solutions
4+ Years experience in Process Analysis and Mapping
