Maranatha Christian Schools, one of the private schools in Zimbabwe are looking for a professional, well-qualified, and experienced candidate to fill the vacant position of bursar that has arisen. The ideal candidate should be a multi-talented individual who is able to work under minimum supervision. Maranatha High Schools are Registered Cambridge and ZIMSEC centers with boarding facilities in Harare and Kadoma.
Duties And Responsibilities
The incumbent shall chiefly be responsible for preparing and examining financial records (financial management documents), ensuring taxes are paid in time as well as advising the executive on accounting issues. He/she shall help the organization make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, correcting the company’s finances and also ensuring those financial management records are accurate throughout the year.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or any other related field from recognized universities.
2. Accounting certification is an added advantage.
3. Experience with accounting and financial software.
4. Experience of working in Private Schools is an added advantage.
5. Christian based background.
