BURNING SECTION COACH X 1

Sino-Zimbabwe Cement Company, a leading cement manufacturer situated 38 Km from Gweru in Midlands Province, is looking for competent and experienced persons to fill the following positions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• 10-year hands on experience working in the cement industry.

• Ability to read and understand technical documentation is a prerequisite.

THE JOB

• Involves monitoring the standard of operations and influence the attainment of operational best practices in the key areas of the burning section of the process line.

• Ensures kiln stability, output, quality of product and safety of personnel, plant and equipment.

• Guarantees raw mill output, stability, quality and safety of personnel, plant and equipment, including the waste gas system.

• Oversees coal mill operations: output, quality and safety of personnel, plant and equipment.

• Includes conducting on the job training in kiln burning and raw milling sections.

• Provides support and guidance in routine maintenance/ overhaul shutdown jobs to guarantee quality of work and timeliness of completion.

• Requires ability to interpret process diagrams and manuals in Mandarin.

• Entails the ability to relate Chinese process standards to other international standards.
