Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Building Inspector
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting building inspections to ensure that all Civil Engineering Constructions structures are in accordance with the approved plans and designs in compliance with the model building by-laws and Civil Engineering statutes.
- Attending to queries from residents on all building matters.
- Serve notices and enforcement orders of illegal structures and make follow ups to ensure compliance.
- Conducting site inspections and feasibility assessment for proposed developments.
- Preparation and maintenance of inspection registers and statistical reports for the Engineer.
