Roles and Responsibilities
- Carrying out building inspections on all construction sites, Approval of Building plans
- Carrying out sporadic checks to identify illegal developments
- Keeping a proper record of approved plans
- Ensure all Council Building are well maintained and kept in sound state
- Issuance of building permits
- Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications And Experience
- At least a Diploma in Construction Design and Technology,
- A minimum of 5 0′ Levels including Mathematics, English and Science,
- Have completed a recognized apprenticeship and qualified as Class one Bricklayer,
- A clean class four driver’s license.
Experience
- At least 3 years post qualification experience
- Sound knowledge of Model Building by-laws.
