Person Specification
The ability to multitask.
The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to work after normal working hours.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Artisan Class 1 or 2 Builder
At least 2 years experience as a Builder/Tiler
Experience in a tertiary institution would be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
Interpretation of working drawing
Carrying out construction activity on assigned projects: brick and block laying, plastering and tiling.
Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation
Carrying out renovations and refurbishments.
General maintenance of buildings.
Adhering to building by-laws in all construction work.
Contributing to the success of the Central Services and Amenities Department by performing all other essential duties as assigned.
