The Accountant will be overall responsible for maintaining general ledger entries, managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, reconciling financial statements and providing valuable insights for decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and managing general ledger entries, as well as their supporting documentation
  • Preparing balance sheet and profit and loss statement monthly.
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Tracking of fixed assets and related depreciation within Fixed Asset ledger
  • Responsible for stock management: overseeing forecasting, usage, and reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar field.
  • 3 years of experience working as an Accountant, or a similar role in the Accounting department.
  • Outstanding knowledge of IFRS or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and Google sheets.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multi-task simultaneously.
  • Illustrate the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Team player and ability to motivate the team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
