JOB DESCRIPTION
Applications are invited for suitably qualified persons to fill the position of Broadcast Content Monitoring & Compliance Assistant that has arisen within our organisation in Chiredzi.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring of programme content of to ensure compliance with the Act, licence conditions, regulations and other relevant statutes
- Preparing compliance reports on the licensee and making recommendations to the Supervisors.
- Providing regular feedback and liaise with the licensee on compliance matters
- Compiling and preparing information for investigations in case of any violations or non-compliance with licence terms and conditions, regulations or other relevant statutes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Media studies, Communication, Journalism or any related field. A degree in the related field is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Shangani. Knowledge of other languages such as Ndebele, Shona, Venda and Ndau languages are an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
