RESPONSIBILITY

 

 

The incumbent shall be responsible to the Head Marketing.

 

 

KEY JOB PURPOSES

 

 

To promote NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited brand.

 

 

PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

  1. Coordinates the development of brand positioning, vision, communication and innovation development;

  2. Leads market share gain of Mobile Network Services in a very competitive market, specifically centred around Data, VAS, Voice, SMS and Enterprise products;

  3. Establishes and maintains brand guidelines, for consistency across all brand assets and communications;

  4. Plans integrated brand marketing campaigns to promote the NetOne’s brand, manage brand P&L and brand life cycle through creation of activities that can sustain and grow the brands;

  5. Collaborates with internal teams and external agencies in developing creative assets and messaging for campaigns and managing meticulous execution of all activities in all platforms;

  6. Assesses the possible outcomes that NetOne can benefit from partnerships and sponsorships, create strong relationships with partners;

  7. Identifies and cultivates strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility and reach new audiences;

  8. Negotiates sponsorship opportunities and brand partnerships that align with the company’s values and objectives;

  9. Tracks and analyses key performance indicators (KPIs) related to brand awareness, perception, and engagement;

  10. Identifies market gaps and creates loyalty programs for product awareness and brand affection.

  11. Develop and implement brand budgets and ensure prudent use of resources for each brand.

 

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent

  • Minimum of four (4) years relevant working experience in brands management (Telecommunication, FMCG and/or Advertising agencies.)

 

 

COMPETENCIES

 

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft suites such as PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • Pays attention to detail

  • Project management skills are an added advantage

  • High-level interpersonal skills

  • Interpretation and analytical ability to translate marketing objectives and feedback from internal and external customers into communication strategies and tactics.
