Zimbabwe Consolidated Diamond Company (Pvt) Ltd (ZCDC), a World Class Diamond Producer for the long-term benefit of Zimbabwe seeks applications from suitably qualified, experienced and self-driven candidates to be considered for the following positions that have arisen in the business:
Reporting to the Engineering Foreman, the job is based at the Mine and is responsible for the following:
Summary of Duties:
• Carrying out routine and scheduled maintenance work.
• Carrying out required installation and fabrication work.
• Ensuring that breakdowns are resolved in shortest possible time.
• Completing job cards and maintenance sheets for jobs done.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
• Five (5) O’ Level passes including Mathematics and English.
• National Certificate in Fabrication Engineering or related.
• Apprentice trained Boilermaker.
• At least 3 years’ post apprenticeship experience in a mining, processing plant or heavy manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge and experience in cutting, bending and welding metal-work techniques.
• Familiar with MIG, TIG. and stick welding processes.
• Sound knowledge of SHEQ Management Systems.
