Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily boarding routines, ensuring punctuality, discipline, and adherence to school policies.
  • Provide pastoral care, guidance, and mentorship to boarding students.
  • Monitor hygiene, safety, and welfare standards within the boarding house.
  • Coordinate evening study sessions, recreational activities, and weekend programs.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and administration regarding student welfare.
  • Uphold the school’s Christian ethos and values in all boarding activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Education, Sports Science, Social Work, or related field.
  • Prior experience in student supervision, boarding management, or youth mentorship.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage discipline with empathy and fairness.
  • Additional skill certification/experience (sports, repairs and maintenance, etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • To maximize productivity during school hours when students are in class, the Boarding Master must possess at least one additional skill area, such as:
  • Sports Training & Coaching – lead sports programs, fitness sessions, and extracurricular activities.
  • Repairs & Maintenance – assist with minor facility upkeep, inspections, and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Any other area suitable for a boarding school and student affairs
