The post requires the candidate to carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the Academy’s policies under the direction of the Principal. The candidate has to be an effective professional who demonstrates thorough curriculum knowledge, teach and assess effectively, take responsibility for professional development and has students who achieve well.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Creating lesson plans,
- Evaluating student performance,
- Maintaining classroom records,
- Meeting with parents, teachers, and other professionals,
- Updating curriculum, and participating in campus events.
- Carrying out additional research, supervisory, or organizational duties may also be required depending upon the expectations of the employing school.
Qualifications And Experience
- BSc degree in Education majoring in the subject/s or an approved teacher training program from a well-recognized institution or
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Biology
- Post Graduate Diploma in education
- Experience in teaching Cambridge Syllabus and exam classes
- 5 years of experience of serving in Private Schools
- Christian based background
- Computer literate
