NetOne Cellular (Private) Limited seeks to recruit a highly motivated, outstanding and results-oriented individual to fill the following position.
BILLING SPECIALIST

RESPONSIBILITY

‘The incumbent shall be responsible to the Billing Manager.

KEY JOB PURPOSE

To operate and maintain of the Billing system and its subsystems by covering maintenance, housekeeping, performance management, user support, charging, tariff management, product configurations, campaign configurations, and recharge management.

PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implements and maintains Billing operations to ensure charging and billing integrity;
2. Identifies and proposes Billing components that require improvement;
3. Defines and implements new recharge types including pin less, EVD and physical cards and ensures a steady flow of recharge cards to meet market and business demands;
4. Implements processes to ensure confidentiality integrity, accuracy and security of data;
5. Provides integration support as and when needed;
6. Draws up preventative maintenance tasks on the Billing subsystems so that the occurrences of faults are minimized;
7. Devises methods and means of minimizing revenue leakages;
8. Works and coordinates with key stakeholders such as Credit Control, Finance, Customer Care and Products in key promotional, charging and revenue issues;
9. Ensures timely and proper tariff implementation into the Intelligent Network system;
10. Develops and configures new products, promotions and campaigns;
11. Designs and implements procedures to eliminate revenue leakages;
12. Manages and maintains all Billing related applications.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

⦁ Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
⦁ A project Management Qualification is an added advantage;
⦁ A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.

COMPETENCIES

⦁ Understanding and appreciation of GSM;
⦁ Must have demonstrable skills in Billing, IN & VAS – software and hardware;
⦁ Must be familiar with integration activities and procedures;
⦁ Ability to analyze and deal with complex Billing, IN & VAS issues, is needed;
⦁ Must be an innovative and business-oriented person with a thorough grounding in business operations management and dynamics;
⦁ Must have team leadership skills;
Experience in business process improvement or process implementation is required.
