National Propshafts Centre is seeking a qualified and hands-on Automotive Electrician to join our dynamic maintenance team. This is a fleet maintenance-focused role, ideal for someone with solid experience in auto electrics across a variety of heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out fleet maintenance electrical work on a wide range of vehicles

• Diagnosing and repairing faults, including full electrical rebuilds where necessary

• Ensuring all electrical systems (lights, indicators, sensors, etc.) are fully operational before dispatch

• Performing pre-dispatch checks and attending to forklifts, cranes, and yellow earthmoving equipment

• Responding to electrical breakdowns and faults across the fleet, including heavy vehicles

• Prioritising battery maintenance and managing charging systems

• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in automotive electrical work

• Class One qualification

• Valid driver’s licence is essential

• Strong understanding and experience with forklifts, cranes, trucks, and earthmoving machinery

• Additional mechanical knowledge is an added advantage

• Professional, dependable, and able to work under pressure
