Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, commission and maintain automated control systems for mining and mineral processing plants.
- Develop and maintain PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
- Integrate sensors, instrumentation, drives and control equipment.
- Troubleshoot automation and control-system faults.
- Support automation of crushing, screening, conveying, beneficiation and recycling processes.
- Optimise plant control systems to improve production efficiency, recovery and equipment reliability.
- Assist with commissioning and upgrading automated processing equipment.
Requirements
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Practical experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, industrial automation and control systems.
- Experience in mining, mineral processing or industrial automation will be an advantage.
- Ability to work at mining and processing sites in Kwekwe, Gweru or Chiredzi.
