Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on construction plant and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Work on a wide range of machinery including excavators, dozers, graders, rollers, asphalt pavers, generators, tippers, and small tools
- Install and maintain electrical systems and components
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering / Apprentice Trained
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Experience with heavy construction or mining equipment is highly desirable
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Valid driver’s licence
