ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform daily and routine maintenance tasks on front-end loaders, drill rigs, among other key mining equipment as instructed or specified on work orders.
• Attend to breakdowns within your area of responsibility and complete work within specified timeframes to minimize downtime.
• Competently disassemble and assemble related equipment and accessories using technical manuals and written procedures.
• Complete work order documentation after every task performed and submit it to the Foreman on the same day.
• Ensure and enforce all housekeeping and SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) standards within work areas at all times.

ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL

Qualifications

• 50 ‘Level passes including Mathematics, English and Science
• Class One Journeyman certificate in Auto-Electrics

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working
Skills
• Ability to services and repair front-end loaders, drill rigs, truck among other earthmoving equipment maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with extensive knowledge of modern computer-controlled diagnostic systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001 and 15001
• Ability to read and interpret user manuals accurately.
