CARE Zimbabwe is requesting proposals for the performance of its annual audit. The terms of reference document outlines our expectations, specific audit requirements, and reports. Our objective is to select the firm that will provide us the highest quality of professional service. Our expectation is that the independent auditing firm should add substantial value to CARE Zimbabwe by gaining an intimate knowledge of our mission and priorities. Among the criteria we will evaluate, will be on responsiveness and creativity in addressing our specific business needs and demonstrating additional value based upon technical and sector specific experience. Upon approval the selected firm can begin work for the annual audit for the year-ending June 30, 2021. While subject to annual review, our intention is to build a multi-year relationship with the successful firm and as such do not currently plan to issue a subsequent request for proposal for audit services for at least 3 years. We are requesting that the written proposal be less than 25 pages (including appendices) in length.
