ASSISTANT TAILOR/SEAMSTRESS

We are currently recruiting an Assistant Tailor/Seamstress to work alongside our Head Tailor in Harare CBD.

The perfect candidate will have:
• Experience with sewing garments using a sewing machine
• Be diligent and have a great work ethic in order to complete tasks given at a high standard

• Passionate about clothing and fashion
• Honest and transparent

• Great with communication as you will be working as part of a small team, and you will be reporting to the Head Tailor
• Fantastic attitude overall and eager to learn

Role and responsibilities:
• Assist with the garments that need to be cut, sewn, ironed and prepared for delivery
• Press and smooth garments using hand irons

• Assist Head Tailor to measure clients accurately, using tape measures, and record measurements properly
• Keen eye for detail to ensure every garment is completed to the highest quality standard

Individual must:
• Live in Harare, and be able to commute to CBD with ease

• Have a smartphone and access to WhatsApp at all times

Standard working hours: 9am – 5pm

Decent base salary and opportunity to earn commission (based on performance & quality of work).
