Key Responsibilities
- Receive stock per set procedures, investigating and reporting any variances to management and procurement.
- Execute physical stock movements – goods issues, transfers, and returns – strictly within set procedures, and capture them accurately and daily in the ERP system; maintain the bin-card system as a backup.
- Bin stock safely into correct locations, minimising dock-to-stock cycle time, and maintain orderly chronological filing of inventory documents.

- Support construction site procurement – raising requisitions, expediting deliveries, verifying goods received, and liaising with suppliers and site teams.
Requirements
- Welcome: A Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Stores Management – or a certificate / trade qualification in stores or warehouse operations backed by strong post-qualification site experience.
- Strongly valued: Practical knowledge of building materials (cement, steel, timber, fixings, finishes, mechanical and electrical consumables) and how they are received, stored, and issued on a live construction site.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in stores operations, with at least part of this gained on a construction site or in a building-materials environment. Proven on-site track record will be prioritised over academic credentials; novice candidates without site exposure are unlikely to be successful.
- Skills and attributes: Working knowledge of an ERP / computerised inventory system (e.g. Acumatica, SAGE Pastel Evolution, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent); strong attention to detail; sound documentation, ICT, high integrity and strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
