Qualifications And Experience
• Applicants should have a degree in Library and Information Section (LIS) or a degree in any discipline PLUS a Postgraduate Diploma in LIS.
• A Masters’ degree in LIS would be an added advantage. Applicants should also have at least five years of experience in an academic Library.
• The successful candidate would be expected to demonstrate a very good understanding of Education 5.0 and a broad technical knowledge and expertise in achieving user satisfaction in the University.
• He or she should have a good grasp of current trends in user behaviour and information provision in digital libraries and should demonstrate assertiveness in handling various types of user personalities and needs.
• He or she should have a good knowledge of various sources and types of information and good analytical, report writing and communication skills.
