Assistant Plumber (1 Post)
The Plumbing Assistant is responsible for assisting Plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in the University sites. Under the direction of a Plumber, install pipes, replace faucets, unclog toilets, install garbage disposals, and adjust water pressure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to one or more skilled plumbers;
- Assisting the plumber including site preparation and clearance, and maintaining general site tidiness and assisting as directed by the plumber;
- Assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair and maintenance of pipes, fixtures and other water and plumbing systems used anywhere for water distribution and waste disposal and
Any other duties as assigned by the Superiors
