Job Summary

As an Assistant Pension Accounts Manager, your responsibilities will be to:
To assist the Pension Accounts Manager to maintain Pension Funds’ financial records and prepare relevant financial statements, in line with the Pension, Provident Funds Act, regulations, and Company’s standards, policies, and procedures.

Duties And Responsibilities

Major Decisions Made:
1. Assist in the management of all the Pension Funds’ cash flows daily and ensure that excess funds are timeously forwarded to the respective Pension Funds’ Asset Managers.
2. Prepare quarterly financial statements for trustee’s meetings for the pension funds allocated to the job.
3. Liaising with clients, intermediaries, investment houses, and other statutory documentation.
4. Prepare and coordinates the annual audit processes for all pension funds and handle related queries.
5. Co-ordinate and supervise all the Pension Funds’ payrolls and pension funds accounting activities.
6. Ensures timeous preparation and payment of all the pension fund’s statutory remittances.
7. Handle pensioners’ queries as and when necessary.
8. Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations for the pension funds.
9. Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
10. Assisting ith supervision, training, mentoring, and coaching of other team members.
