Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following vacancies that have arisen within the Office of the Master of the High Court of Zimbabwe.
REPORTS TO: INTERNAL AUDITOR
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in documentation of process analysis.
- Assists in matching of identified risks to management instituted controls in place.
- Tests control design and effectiveness of audit controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
- Assists the Internal Auditor in executing routine risks-based audits as outlined in the approved audit plan.
- Follow up on resolutions of previously raised audit shortcomings on sections assigned in the current audit.
- Performs initial classification and rating of the identified risks and weaknesses.
- Assists in carrying out audit investigations and other ad-hoc assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, CFE, CA, CIMA) an added advantage.
- Experience in auditing, risk management or compliance.
- 2-3 years of audit or accounting experience.
- Familiarity with internal audit standards and frameworks.
- Ability to prepare and submit audit reports on time.
