Job Title: ASSISTANT FITTER
Role Purpose:
To fill a vacancy within the Croco Holdings group, assisting the Fitter in mechanical maintenance, repairs, and equipment installation.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist the Fitter in all the following tasks and responsibilities.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on machinery and plant equipment.
- Assemble and install new equipment according to technical specifications and drawings.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Identify and report potential risks or equipment defects.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- National Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Trade Test Certificate (Fitter)
