Assistant Finance Officer/Harare – National Biotechnology Authority

Duties And Responsibilities

• Receipting of daily cash receipts.
  •Reconciliation of daily cash movement
  •Updating the cashbook on a daily basis
  •Maintaining accounting records, filing systems and computer files.
  •Undertaking general clerical duties
  •Matching sent permit books with those returned to ensure all permit books are returned to head office for reconciliation
  •Matching invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices
  •Input accounting data into the accounting system
  •Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spread sheets, reports and correspondence as required
  •Assist with end of year preparation and procedure
  •Provide financial support to team members
  •Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role

Minimum and Ideal Qualifications

• A degree or professional qualification in Accounting and Finance or related
• At least 2 years’ experience
Pastel Experience
• Ability to prioritize and deliver on tight deadlines
• Confidentiality
