Zimasco (Pvt) Limited a major player In Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome sector, has an exciting and challenging career opportunity within its Mining Division Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the following position on a 3 year fixed term employment contract basis renewable subject to performance.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in carrying out electrical engineering projects and maintenance work

DUTIES
Developing engineering designs based on project technical requirements and process requests.
Generating projects and maintenance budget estimates for presentation to Senior Management
Ensuring Projects and Equipment Maintenance works are property planned executed and commissioned within approved budgets timelines.
Ensuring all projects and maintenance engineering work are carried out In accordance with specifications, statutory requirements regulations and other
contractual requirements with due regards to safety, quality, operability and maintainability.
Maintaining the process facilitates to the required availability and reliability targets.

REQUIREMENTS
BSc Electrical Engineering Degree from a reputable university.
Minimum of 5 years post-Graduate Development experience.
3 years of which should have been in a heavy Industrial and for Mining & Mineral Processing environment at Section Engineer level.

Demonstrable knowledge of electrical constructions, installations and maintenance
Demonstrable knowledge of Integrated Maintenance Management Systems
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP Systems (preferably SAP)
Membership of a recognized engineering professional body
Clean Class 4 Driver’s licence
