Duties And Responsibilities
• Provides pastoral care of pupils, as well as support student’s emotional, cultural and
• intellectual development
• Assists student as they settle into the Academy’s life
• Supervises boarding house staff to ensure a clean and hygienic student environment
• Maintains close relationships and good communication with all parents
• Maintains a detailed and up to date student records/database
• Supervise students making sure that they are punctual for meals and other school
activities such as assemblies
• Maintains discipline and order within the boarding house
• Perform day to day building-related maintenance
• Assist Trades people with electrical, plumbing repairs
• Any Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications And Experience
• Should have a minimum of 5 ‘0’ Levels
• Should have first aid certificate
• Aged between 35 -45
• Preferably ex-security officer
• Able to establish a healthy rapport with pupils, staff, parents and teachers
• A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children
