Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Role Purpose:
The Assistant Accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all financial accounting records in line with IFRS, Zimbabwean statutory requirements, and the organisation’s internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial reporting and IFRS compliance
- Cash management and bank controls
- Tax and statutory compliance
- Internal controls and risk management
- Budgeting and financial analysis support
- Audit coordination
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA)
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in financial accounting
