Key Responsibilities

• Receive bullion samples from the Melting House
• Preparing samples for analysis
• Conduct tests to determine bullion chemical composition using both SG and Fire Assay analysis methods.
• Performing instrumental analysis using the XRF, AAS, CIP, etc.
• Verify the purity and quality of bullion
• Maintain accurate record of tests, sample sources and results
• Calibrate devices to ensure precise and accurate measurements
• Reporting on analytical results and metal holdings.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Diploma in Metallurgical Assaying
• Degree in Analytical Chemistry
• Having a working knowledge of laboratory management
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft suite
