Qualifications and Experience
5 ‘O’ levels including Maths and English language
Linesman 1 and 2
Skilled worker class 4
Clean class 2 drivers’ license
3 years relevant experience as a Lines Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities
Determines and establish lines routes and construction for quotation purposes
Enforces health and safety policies and procedures during loading, offloading, erection of poles and
equipment during construction maintenance.
Ensures that the Line Gang has adequate materials and T and E
Submits reports and maintenance schedules after line inspections
Supervise subordinates to ensure meeting of targets and reduction of idle time
