Mutasa Rural District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacant position of AREA SUPERINTENDENT HAUNA – GRADE 9.

REPORTS TO: SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Day to day management of Hauna Growth Point
• Secretary to Residents committee
• Assist Engineering and Technical Services Department with development control
• Enforce by-laws, policies and procedures
• Manage Township programmes and services effectively and efficiently.
• Supervision of all employees in the area.
• Coordination of activities of all Council departments at Hauna Growth Point and Honde Valley area.
• Coordinate Community development, Public and Community relations activities.
• Submission of monthly and weekly returns to Management
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A Degree from a recognised university in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business studies or equivalent qualifications.
• At least three (3) years post qualification experience in middle management or similar position in a Local Authority or Local government experience is an added advantage.
• At least 30 years old and must be mature.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• A Clean Criminal record.
• A clean class four drivers’ licence is an added advantage.
• Must be a Zimbabwean citizen.
