Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of the Authority’s Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
- Coordinate and support stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops, roundtables, meetings, consultations and events.
- Support the public engagements of the CEO, Chair and Members.
- Manage engagement administration, including maintaining stakeholder records, coordinating invitations, tracking responses and supporting follow-up actions.
- Provide administrative and user support for the Authority’s digital engagement platform, Converlens.
- Develop and coordinate communication products, including web content, stakeholder communication, presentations, publications and digital content.
- Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and reporting on communication and engagement activities.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to branch priorities and undertake other communication and engagement projects and activities as required.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and event coordination.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage competing priorities.
- Relevant tertiary education or proven industry experience in outreach/engagement, communications, public relations or events.
- Proven ability to work with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Australian citizenship: Applicants must be Australian citizens to be eligible for employment with the Authority.
- Security clearance: The position requires an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Baseline security clearance. The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain clearance at this level.
- Pre-employment checks: Employment suitability will be assessed through pre-employment screening, including a National Police Check, identity checks and referee checks.
