Overview

Axcentium is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and technical individual to join their Information Technology Services Department as an Applications and Infrastructure Administrator. The role involves managing and maintaining IT infrastructure and business applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT team to support and enhance systems, networks, and applications, including Microsoft tenant management and intranet site creation and management.

About the Job

• Cloud adoption, hardware, operating systems, application deployment, virtualization, and storage.

• Implement and manage security measures to protect data and systems.

• Administer and support business applications, ensuring they meet user needs.

• Manage Microsoft tenant, including user accounts, licenses, and security.

• Manage and monitor Microsoft cloud services (Azure) and emails.

• Create and manage intranet sites to facilitate internal communication and collaboration.

• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all systems within the Axcentium environment.

• Ensure all systems are checked daily and running at optimum performance.

• Enforce, monitor, and report to the IT Manager on the health status of systems and cloud platforms, in accordance with established policies and standards.

• Provide in-depth technical advice and investigations for recurring issues and problem calls.

• Ensure no unauthorized changes are made to any of the systems.

• Provide 2nd and 3rd line service in application support and maintenance.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft Tenant, Intranets, MS cloud services, and infrastructure.

• Proven experience as an Infrastructure and/or Applications Administrator or similar role.

• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V).

• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure).

• Experience with application administration and support.

• Experience with Microsoft tenant management.

• Experience in creating and managing intranet sites.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
