Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill in the position of Amenities Supervisor which has arisen in the Housing, Health and Community Services Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect landscaped areas, cemetery, recreation facilities, parks and Council buildings
- Identify facilities repair needs
- Supervise proper handling, storage, use and disposal of pesticides
- Initiate fumigation calendar for all Council facilities
- Identifying areas that require improvement in the amenities section.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- 5 O’Level passes including English Language
- Diploma in horticulture and grounds maintenance from a recognized institute or closely related field
- 2 years’ experience working in amenities or any related field is a must.
