LEADING CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING COMPANY (BINDURA) – ADMINISTRATOR
Position: ADMINISTRATOR
About: Our client, a leading Chemical Manufacturing company based in Bindura, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administrator to join its team, overseeing and coordinating the administrative functions. The candidate should be prepared to start on the ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a productive and organized work environment.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Preparing and managing the administrative budget, monitoring expenditures and making recommendations for cost savings.
- Managing office supplies and equipment procurement, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Overseeing the maintenance and management of office facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinating office space planning and organization to support business needs.
- Serving as a liaison between departments, facilitating affective [sic: effective] communication and collaboration.
- Coordinating meetings, conferences, and events, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively.
- Establishing and maintaining filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure efficient document retrieval and compliance with data management policies.
- Overseeing the preparation and distribution of internal communications, reports, and presentations.
- Supporting cross-departmental projects by providing administrative assistance and ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met.
- Monitoring project progress and providing updates to management as necessary.
- Ensuring high levels of customer service to clients, visitors, and employees, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Building and maintaining relationships with external vendors and stakeholders.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Identifying potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; Master’s degree added advantage.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office management software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset.
- Class 4 Driver’s licence
