ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology

DESCRIPTION

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following posts that have arisen in the University:

DUTIES
Assisting in drafting and ensuring publication of student admission advertisements.
Assisting in the marketing of programmes on offer at exhibition shows and on Open Day.
Assisting with processing of Undergraduate and Postgraduate admission applications.
Assisting Faculty Administrators and Academic Departments on student admissions.

Assisting in managing the student selection process and generating of offer letters.
Handling and responding to admissions enquiries and queries.
Managing the student database and compilation of student admission and registration statistics.
Servicing Committees of the Senate and other University Committees as assigned.
Any other related duties as assigned Deputy Registrar, Academic.

REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree, in any Administration related discipline and at least two (2) years post qualification experience in University Administration. A Master’s degree would be an added advantage.
